In this episode Jaybo goes to Pittsburgh and meets w Eli Kasan of The Gotobeds. The Gotobeds have just released their 2nd LP Blood/Sugar/Secs/Traffic on Sub Pop records. We discuss a litany of Pittsburgh related pop figures and products as well as the NON Pittsburgh artists Protomartyr, and Mariah Carey. Eli talks the origins of the band and the philosophy behind The Gotobeds energetic ramshacle postpunk sound. This Podcast was recorded on Eli's porch in Pittsburgh PA on Aug 1 2016. Robin Edwards AKA Lisa Prank moved from Denver to Seattle and found herself in the middle of a punk movement of the feminist stripe. Her new record Adult Teen is out in June and is filled with all the heartfelt and tender scenarios you would expect from an intelligent kid who is grown now and puts Blink 182 at the top of her favorite bands list. Derek Burns is an accomplished songwriter who lives as a farmer, surfer and traveler in Kitsap County. His latest record 'Sonic Observations' is a journey into a solitary realm filled w warm melodies provocative lush lyrics and solid instrumental accompaniment by friends from the Bainbridge Island music scene. At some point during this interview his friend and drummer Chad Channing steps in and tells about Derek's music and what island living is all about. This interview was recorded at Hollow Earth Studios in Seattle and edited in a small farmhouse in Western Pennsylvania. Its a real good time. We hope you enjoy.

So Pitted is a Seattle band who is releasing their first record on Sub Pop. The LP is called NEO and it's really good. So Pitted's singer Nathan Rodriguez takes part in this slow strange chat w Jaybo on the eve of NEO's Release. Nathan has a ton of cool shit to say AND Sub Pop allowed us to include a song from NEO called Rot In Hell.
